Statement of purpose
The Taylors Recreation Club Incorporated is the overall governing body to which members of all the sporting and community activity divisions belong.
In practice a person may be a "member" of the Tennis Club, or the Football Club, or the Garden Club etc..., but in reality they are members of the RecClub, playing or taking part in a sport or activity in one of the RecClub's sporting or activity divisions.
To take part in the defined activity or sport, each person must be a fully financial member of that sport or activity as per the fees, levies and any other charges, set by the sport or activity. Being a fully financial member of a sport or activity means that person is a financial member of the RecClub.
Apart from having full access to the sport or activity to which they have paid their membership, a financial member of the RecClub can hold office on the RecClub Committee and they can make use of the Social Club facilities during the times those facilities are open.
A person who is not a financial member of the RecClub cannot hold office on the RecClub Committee, nor on the Committee's of the divisions. A person who is not a financial member of the RecClub can only make use of the Social Room facilities under the rules governing visitors to the Club and they need to be signed into the Club on each visit by a member.
Persons wishing to become a member of the Taylors Lakes Recreation Club can apply for membership via the specific sport or activity they are interested in, or they can contact the RecClub for Social Membership of the Club.
Details of each Clubs fee structure and costs will be posted shortly.

MEMBERS OF VISITING CLUBS
Members of visiting Clubs attending the Club for competition purposes are deemed to be Honoury Members of the RecClub for the day on which the competition takes place. Visiting Club members deemed to be Honoury Members are not required to sign into the Social rooms on that day. A Motion to that effect complying with the Rules of Association has been passed by the TLRC committee.
